Event Information:
This year Minneapolis Arbor Day is scheduled to coincide with National and Minnesota observed Arbor Day on the last Friday in April. This celebration is open to the public with fun for the whole family. With your help, we’ll plant over 130 trees at Logan Park. In addition to planting trees, let’s have some fun in the park. Bring your sporting skills for kickball! Play some landscape scale yard games, including tree cookie checkers and throw line flingy pongy. Hangout with some naturalist and learn about trees. Build a fort and climb the tree challenge course. You’ll even have a chance to learn about climbing trees with all sorts of cool gear. When you need a break from all the fun, head on over to the Arbor Day Beer Garden. Since we'll be planting trees in the middle of breweryville Northeast Minneapolis, we have partnered with Brewing a Better Forest. Brewery Sponsors of Brewing a Better Forest will be serving beer. We’ll even have brewed coffee from The Matchbox. Donations from the beer garden will help trees in Minneapolis.
Trees for Arbor Day are provided through our ongoing partnership with People for Parks in memory of Carl T. Remick, Jr.
Please join us for a fun time celebrating trees!
